About

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, working within the VIDI project Power Network Optimization in the Age of Climate Extremes, under the supervision of Alessandro Zocca and Sandjai Bhulai. My work focuses on the sub-project Optimizing Weather-Resilient Grid Operations.

My research develops mathematical and computational methods — combining sequential optimization under uncertainty, machine learning, and applied probability — to improve the planning and real-time operation of power grids under climate-driven stresses such as extreme weather and variable renewable energy sources.
